Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Whisk the mixture until completely smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust; add a little more honey if you want it sweeter, or an extra squeeze of lemon for more tang.
  • Transfer to a jar or an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Chef Jenn's Tips

  • Add a pinch of paprika or smoked paprika if you want a little extra smoky depth.
  • Use a silicone spatula to make sure you scrape every bit out of the bowl; it’s too good to waste.
  • If your BBQ sauce is super sweet, start with 3 tablespoons of honey instead of 4.
  • For a smoother blend, toss the ingredients into a small food processor or use an immersion blender.
  • Let the sauce sit for 30 minutes in the fridge if you have time; the flavor will get even better.
